Crazy Square Rumor

Magic Box reports a rumor that a playable demo of Chrono Trigger 2, the sequel to one of Square's most popular RPGs, will be included with the upcoming action RPG Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana. This is pretty hard to believe, especially since, to my knowledge, Chrono Trigger 2 hasn't even been announced yet. Treat this as rumor only (Magic Box even reported it as such).

The rumor also states that like Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana, Chrono Trigger 2 will be a 2D game.

I'm not putting too much stock into this rumor, but it will be interesting to see what demo Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana comes with.

Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana is scheduled to be released on July 13, 1999 in Japan.
