Final Fantasy IX?

The Gaming Intelligence Agency has allegedly gotten their hands on a set of design documents for a new Final Fantasy game. From the looks of things, this could mark a return for the series to the superdeformed characters of past Final Fantasy games, which many fans have been clamoring for. It could also be a spin-off title from the series, nuch like Final Fantasy Tactics. It is noteworthy, however, that the design documents are allegedly labeled "Final Fantasy IX."

Treat this information carefully. Even though it seems a bit elaborate for a hoax (31 well-designed documents in all), you never know nowadays. In the meantime, it's an interesting possibility to consider for the Final Fantasy series.
