Star Ocean: Second Story, Enix's sequel to the popular, but Japan only, Star Ocean has shipped to retailers. Sony representatives claim the game has over 100 hours of game play and 80 different endings. You can check out RPGFan's review of the import version in the reviews section.

Square representatives have finally spoken up about their reasons for omitting FFIV in the US release of the Final Fantasy Anthology. The reason given was that they didn't want to take away their localization teams from current Playstation products in order to translate FFIV. FFV and FFVI were previously translated into english as part of a planned then cancelled PC release of the two re-makes. Square hopes to make up for the omission of FFIV by including a soundtrack CD with the anthology featuring songs from FFV and FFVI.
