Langrisser Millennium Artwork

Langrisser Millennium, the first installment of the cult classic series to hit the Dreamcast, will feature some radical gameplay departures from previous games in the series. But the changes to the series won't be limited to just that of the gameplay.

A large part of the appeal of the Langrisser series is due to the spectacular artwork of Satoshi Urushihara, who did the character art and designs for all of the previous games in the series. Longtime fans of the series will be disappointed to hear that Urushihara will not be involved with Langrisser Millennium. The new artist does look promising, though, and we've got some of his art for you to see. Click here to check out the new artist's work.

Urushihara fans may have something to look forward to, though. It is rumored that Urushihara will be doing the art for an upcoming Masaya game called Glow Lancer. No other details about Glow Lancer, including what system it will be released for, are known at this time.
