Growlanser Battle System Revealed!

The battle system for Growlanser, a game by Career Soft (of Langrisser fame), was recently revealed in Famitsu. Dubbed the RMC system, which stands for Real-time Mission Clear, it is a unique system that is a bit similar to the one used in Chrono Trigger.

In the RMC system, the battle will take place in the area that the enemy attacks. For example, if you get into a battle in the outskirts of a town, you will be able to enter the town and fight there if you wish..but watch out for the innocent villagers, you don't want them to get hurt...do you?

Once the battle starts, the game promises 'Dramatic and Realistic battles'. What this means exactly is yet to be seen, however.

Look for Growlanser to be released sometime this year in Japan.
