Chrono Trigger Remake Screens and Movies!

Scheduled for release in Japan on November 2, the Playstation remake of Chrono Trigger will have a few new features over its previous incarnation, the most noteworthy being the addition of animated movies throughout the game.

First off, we have 5 anime screen shots.

Next, there are 2 movies. However, at the present time, our Movies section does not work correctly in Netscape, so they are not being added to the movies section as of yet. To download them, please use the following links:

Chrono Trigger (PS) Anime Clip #1
3.4 Megabytes; 11 seconds; QuickTime

Chrono Trigger (PS) Anime Clip #2
1.5 Megabytes; 4 seconds; QuickTime

We apologize for any inconveniences, and expect to have the Movies section working properly in all browsers within the next week.

Finally, in related news, another part of Square's fall lineup has received a release date. Parasite Eve II is due to be released in Japan on December 8.

Thanks to Square of Japan for the pictures and movies, and videogames.com for the Parasite Eve II release date.
