Definite Date for Dragon Quest VII?

In a strange bit of news, Geisen announces that Dragon Quest VII will be released in Japan by the end of this year. This news comes as a bit of a shock, since only last week Dragon Quest VII was slated for release at the end of the fiscal year(sometime around March 2000).

If this new date turns out to be correct, fans of the series will have an unexpected surprise over the holidays. Two surprises actually, the second surprise will be a high price tag of 7800 yen in Japan. Anyone who plans on importing this game may have to consider spending a hefty amount of money.

If the price doesn't faze you, then look forward to possibly getting to play Dragon Quest VII on December 29. This is of course barring any more unforseen delays.
