Millenium Event Postponed

Square's Millenium Event has been postponed until January 29, 2000. This is unfortunate because many new games were to be unveiled during this show, some of them being titles for the Psx 2, but now it seems we will all have to wait to find out what the next wave of Square games are going to be.

Square's reasons for pushing back the event have not been officially stated. There was some speculation that the elusive Final Fantasy IX would have made its first appearance at this event. Perhaps this title may be the cause of the delay? Or perhaps they are running into unforseen difficulties bringing everything together.

Whatever the case may be, the new date is now on January 29, 2000.
