Atlus Grabs Ogre Battle

Ogre Battle is a long running series of Strategy/RPGs that have been fairly successful in Japan. Over here however, we have only seen a handful of games in the series make the trip from Japan. Mainly the hard to find Snes version, the Playstation remake, and one of the sequels.

Now thanks to Atlus(seems Nintendo passed on releasing this one), Ogre Battle 3 will also find its way to us under the name Ogre Battle 64, on the Nintendo 64 platform.

This works out quite well because the N64 isn't exactly being flooded with RPGs, and this is a good chance for many people to get to play a game from this slightly obscure series.

Ogre Battle 64 should be out by March 2000.
