Interview with Richard Garriott

The Adrenaline Vault has posted up an interview conducted by Chris Harding with Lord British, AKA Richard Garriott. During this comprehensive two part interview, Richard Garriott explains many aspects of the upcoming Ultima IX and what it will hold for long time fans of the series, as well as newcomers alike.

Ultima IX: Ascension will follow the last journey of the legendary Avatar. This chapter will more than likely have at least one major plot revelation. A big enough catalyst to explain what will happen to the Avatar in this final quest. The story itself isn't the only aspect of the series to make a major change either. Ultima IX features full 3-D graphics, so a good accelerator will be a necessity for those who seek to immerse themselves in the complete experience. There will be over 200 NPCs with full spoken dialouge, and enough new music to help bring alive the captivating world of Britannia as it has never been before.
