Baldur's Gate 2 In Development
Interplay has finally released some info on Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, the sequel to one of the better PC RPGs out there.
Baldur's Gate 2 takes place in 1370 DR. It has now been a couple of months since the end of Saravok. The city of Baldur's Gate has managed to avoid a war with Amn.
The gameplay seems to have a few minor tweaks, but so far nothing revolutionary in terms of differences from the first title. Regardless of this, it still seems like a good game is on its way. A few new locales, added combat depth, and the same great engine from the first title can't hurt it any. With Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale both coming down the pipeline in the future, it looks like Black Isle Studios and Interplay are set to take the PC gaming world by storm all over again. Personally, I don't see how they can go wrong.
