Square on the WonderSwan?

According to the japanese publication, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Bandai has made a deal with RPG monster Square to develop games for it's portable.

This pact will is essentially be of great importance to the WonderSwan in the coming months. As the portable hasn't been doing nearly as well as Nintendo's Game Boy Color, despite decent sales in Japan. Square plans to develop three popular RPG series for the system. These include Seiken Densetsu, Romancing Saga, and of course, Final Fantasy.

Bandai plans to use these releases to their advantage when the WonderSwan finally debuts in North America during the next fiscal year. Will Square's popularity be enough to help the WonderSwan topple Nintendo's Game Boy Color?
