Final Fantasy VIII Demo

The first demo for Final Fantasy VIII PC is now available for download at IGN. This time around many of the flaws of the Final Fantasy VII PC translation are being worked on to be properly corrected. However keep in mind that this is only a demo and is subject to bugs, glitches, or otherwise annoying stuff most PC users may be used to in their games by now.

Earlier it was announced that Breath of Fire 4 was Playstation bound. Well now there is some more information. This time on the characters. First up is Ryu, a familiar name to those who are veterans of the series(This name seems to have been given to the main characters in the previous BOF games.) In this storyline Ryu has no recollection of his past and carries a strange relic known as the "Dragon's Eye". He is discovered unconcious by Nina early on.

Next up is Nina(another familiar name to fans). Nina is on a quest to find her missing sister. As the princess of the kindom of Windia, Nina has been raised well, but retains some childish aspects to her personality.

The last three characters revealed so far are Scias, a merc who is suffering from a lack of work now that the world is at "peace", Cray, who like Scias also fought in the last major war and is still devoted to the East, and lastly Master, a strange individual who wears armor that bears a powerful curse. Because Master never seems to remove his armor, noone really knows what his appearance is like.
