Miscellaneous Portable RPG News

First up, there seems to be a new Langrisser game in the works by Masaya! Before you get your hopes up, it isn't for some major console like the Dreamcast or upcoming Playstation 2, but instead for the ever popular Wonderswan portable. This new chapter in the series, Langrisser Millennium - The Last Century will continue the story that began in Langrisser Millennium for the Dreamcast. However the game will not play like Langrisser Millennium. It will instead adopt the series' older combat engine. Look for this game to hit the Wonderswan in March 2000.

Nintendo has set a final release date for their new Game Boy Color title, Zelda: Fushigina Kinomi. The date for chapter one of this three part series is now scheduled for sometime in March 2000.

Finally, if you live in Japan or have a very speedy importer, you may be already aware that Shen Mue has been released. If you were not aware of this information, then I imagine now you are. Shen Mue is Sega's biggest title this year. If you are seeking the latest in insanity on the Dreamcast, go get Shen Mue now!
