Weekly Poll Begins
For many, Sundays are all about relaxing before the work week begins. For others, it's a time of religious worshipping. To some, it's a time to finish all that homework you swore you'd do earlier in the weekend. But now, Sundays will have a different meaning at RPGFan. It means a brand new poll, based on the latest news and issues in the vast world of RPGs!
To kick off this soon-to-be tradition, we thought it would be proper to ask our readers about Final Fantasy IX, which we first saw a glimpse of from Square Millennium Conference footage. It seems that the Final Fantasy series will be taken back into the realm of fantasy rather than that of science fiction and technology seen in FFVII and FFVIII. So, here's our question for you:
"What are your thoughts on FFIX having a more fantasy-based setting?"
If you'd like to participate in our poll, just scroll down on the main page and choose your answer. The previous poll's results can be found here.
If you feel your thoughts are better expressed in a long drawn-out argument, then head to the editorials section. You can either write about this specific subject or the suggested topic that coincidentally has to do with FFIX, FFX, and FFXI.
Other than the new poll, we have two other changes to talk about. First, all of our news updates are now archived in a very organized manner so that our readers can browse them easily. If you're the nostalgic type, click here to explore our archives.
The second change is that our search engine now just searches news stories instead of the entire site. Since the news section is so vast yet not organized in any fashion other than by date, we thought this would be ideal. Other sections are organized by system, game, alphabet, etc... so we didn't feel these needed to be part of the search. While you're voting at the poll, you might as well scroll down a bit farther and try out the search!
That concludes our poll update this week. If you have any poll ideas, feel free to e-mail me.
