Capcom has finally announced Breath of Fire IV for an offcial release in North America. There is no set release date for the game, but Capcom is aiming for a late summer or early fall release. Breath of Fire IV is the second game in the series to land on the Playstation. Let's hope this one improves on the first.

Monolith Soft, Namco's subsidiary revealed its first Playstation 2 project known mysteriously as Project X. So far zero details on the actual game have been released, but it should be noted that the X in logo seems to bear a similar font to that of Xenogears. While it couldn't possibly be a true sequel to Xenogears, similarities wouldn't be too much of a shock. Project X should be out by winter 2001.
