A Closer Look At One Fourth

Like we reported yesterday morning, From Software will be releasing 1/4 (One Fourth) this winter, a new Fantasy RPG for the Playstation 2. It is the company's third PS2 RPG after Eternal Ring and Evergrace.

This multi-player medieval-setting RPG allows for real time battles in the same style as traditional RTS games like Starcraft: players highlight characters and designate orders in real time. The goal of the game is to defeat the King of Darkness, hidden in an underground dungeon. Up to four characters can be in the party at the same time; players give instructions to their characters in real time and can also make combined attacks. The party may have to fight up to 10 enemies at the same time. Geographical features of the battle fields are supposed to play a part and can be used to your advantage in battle.

We've got the first screen shots of the game for you to look at!
