[E3] Agetec's U.S. Line Up

Agetec, formerly ASCII Entertainment Software, has announced Eternal Ring, Evergrace, and RPG Maker for U.S. release. Here's some quick descriptions:

Evergrace is a 3D action RPG for the PlayStation 2. It features two story lines that follow the paths of Yuterald, a swordsman from Stolta and a girl named Sharamy as they pursue their own destinies. The game has a "Dress-Up" feature which allows both characters to wear just about anything (the statement mentions "potted plants and pumpkins" as an example of odd articles of clothing) and then an appraiser evaluates their fashion sense with a "taste rating". This will supposedly affect how much repairs cost. See 2 new large screen shots.

Eternal Ring is another PlayStation 2 3D action RPG. The game takes place on a remote island shrouded in mystery and full of frightening enemies. Using various rings with different abilities, players get to explore a lush 3D world with various environmental changes through time. See 2 new large screen shots.

RPG Maker is an RPG creation game for PlayStation. RPG fans will finally get to make their own RPGs by utilizing any combination of graphics included in the game or you can even edit your own. We have 5 screen shots showing a few sample RPGs as well as the menu interface.

No specific release dates have been mentioned, but we'll keep you posted.
