29 Screen Shots of Seven

Announced two days ago, Seven: Cavalrymen of Molmoth is a Playstation 2 RPG by Namco. Seven unites a focus on tactical gameplay with hand-drawn 2D backgrounds--an unexpected choice for a PS2 title. The main character of the game is an apprentice cavalryman from Almesera Kingdom. After a strange incident occurs in the nearby village of Molmoth, he starts out on an adventure...

The game's main feature is the "Rotation Battle System". In battles, units are placed on 3 lines of 4 panels (quite reminiscent of Ogre Battle's battlefields, in fact), and every turn, you are given the option of staying or "rotating", i.e. moving the characters from the front line to the back line.

Seven: Cavalrymen of Molmoth is scheduled for a Winter 2000 release, on DVD format, but right now you can check out 29 screen shots of the game and one piece of artwork!
