More Final Fantasy IX Hype

Square Electronic Arts will host a launch event for its highly anticipated Final Fantasy IX on November 13th at San Francisco's Metreon, the world's only PlayStation store, between 2-5 pm PST. The Metreon will be selling Final Fantasy IX that day and the first 100 customers will receive a plush Vivi as well as an unannounced item. An onsite contest, held during the event, will require contestants to guess how many Vivi Dolls are stuffed into the "Vivi-Mobile." Winners, who will be announced at the end of the event, will receive a prize package worth over $500, including many different Squaresoft collectibles. Multiple demo stands will be available at the event, so that people can give the game a trial run. Final Fantasy IX will be released nationwide on November 14.
