Pokémon Crystal

Pokémon Crystal, once known as Pokémon X, is slowly creeping towards its Japanese release date. Pokémon Crystal will utilize the Mobile Adapter, which allows players to communicate with each other over cellular phones. This Mobile Adapter enhanced game will focus on a youth named Minaki who is somehow associated with one of the Sacred Pokémon in the game. Also, you will be able to solve all the mysteries in the Ruins of Aplh, and unlock the secrets of the mysterious Pokémon Unknowns. A new feature will also be added, in which the player will be able to choose whether to play as a male or female character. Depending on which gender the player chooses the game will have a different color scheme for the menus, backpack and the Pokégear.

Pokémon Crystal will be released in Japan on December 14 for 3800 yen. The Mobile adapter will not be released until January 2001. A North American release of the game is unconfirmed at this time.
