Dragon Quest GB III US Bound!

Released last week in Japan, Dragon Quest III: And Then, To The Legend... is the Game Boy Color remake of the Super Famicom remake of the classic NES RPG (whew), better known as Dragon Warrior III in the US. Although Dragon Quest VII has not received a Statewide release date yet, Enix is planning to give a treat to all Dragon Quest fans announcing that Dragon Quest III is going to be released in 2001, with a brand new translation!

With 5,200,000 copies sold (3,800,000 for the NES version and 1,400,000 for its Super Famicom remake) in Japan, Dragon Quest III was the most successful title in the series, and the best-selling RPG in Japan after the Pokémon games, and with its 32 Meg cartridge (DQI + II only used 16), it's bound to give players a nice long gaming experience. To celebrate the news, we've got 42 new screen shots and the Japanese packaging!
