Dragon Quest Monsters II Info

Following Enix's recent announcement of Dragon Quest Monsters II: Marta's Mysterious Key, a few tidbits have been unveiled about the game's story and setting.

The story takes place in the land of Marta, rival to Dragon Quest Monsters' land of Daiju. The main characters are a brother and his little sister, Ruka and Iru. Ruka can use attack-type monsters, while Iru uses assistance-type monsters.

The so-called "Mysterious Keys" referenced in the title can be found in the game, leading to unknown worlds, each being randomly generated. The keys can be exchanged with the game link. The game will feature over 300 monsters.

Although the two versions of game were originally supposed to be released simultaneously, rumours report that Iru's Adventure has suffered a delay and is no longer scheduled for March 20th like Ruka's Journey. Neither the reasoning for the delay nor a new release date have been revealed.
