Sakura Taisen Release Date Set!

Sakura Taisen 3: Is Paris Burning? is probably one of the most anticipated Sega games ever, and many people view it as the Dreamcast's last chance in Japan. Originally scheduled for an Autumn 2000 release, the game had been delayed to Spring of 2001. Now, Sakura Taisen 3 is confirmed for release on the second day of Spring, March 22nd to be exact, at a price of 7,800 yen (about $74). No limited edition has been announced yet, but it's highly likely that the game will have one just like its predecessors.

To celebrate the news, we have 100 brand new screen shots from the opening movie, recently unveiled on yet another preview disk that was released with the Sakura Taisen mail software, Kinematron Hanagumi Mail. As for the opening song, it's already available in our Music section!
