Genesis Retro Reader Reviews

Welcome, welcome, welcome you review fanatics. Coming back from a rather lengthy absence are the Retro Reader Reviews that you all know and love. Whether it's a golden oldie that nostalgia causes you to tear up for or if it's just an RPG that you've never seen bashed (but have always wanted to) I'm sure you'll enjoy, so let's get going.

We've got three Genesis games in the review lineup today, the first two being from reader Locke. The first is his review of FASA's Shadowrun, a personal favorite of mine and Dancin' Homer, while the second is of Sega's Wonder Boy in Monster World also known by some as Wonder Boy 5. Again, another great game which I remember with great fondness, though truth be told, editor Zone Phara is the Wonder Boy afficianado at the site. Either way, you can find the Shadowrun review here and the Wonder Boy in Monster World review here. Short but sweet from Locke with love.

Finally, we've got a review of Sega's third installment in their flagship RPG series, Phantasy Star III, written by reader Blademaster Dezo. Like many PS fanatics, I wasn't all that keen on this installment, but I got all four endings anyhow. However, it's a good review, to be sure, and you can check it out here.

That's all for this time reviewniks. Next update should be some editor reviews, so in the interim, send in those submissions and revel in the nostalgia that is the Retro Reader Review Update.
