A New Phantasy Star Online?

As reported before, a Phantasy Star Online Append Disc is in the works, and 14 screens have so far been released by HKDreamcast.com. Take a look at them below:

Judging from the screens, not only are there more items (such as that umbrella that the one character is holding), but it appears that the beat system may be used even further for an element of time in the actual game settings. The screenshot of the forest level shows a sunset. Certainly makes you wonder.

The disc will come with not only extra items, but also new mags (such as the Dreamcast and the Master System shown in screenshots above), and two new levels, a temple and a spaceship. A new "Ultimate" difficulty level will be introduced, and characters' maximum level has been doubled to 200. Various bugs will be patched up, and new battle modes will be introduced, including a player versus player mode, and a capture-the-flag game.

Is everyone else excited, or is it just me?
