It seems like we'll be seeing more of Final Fantasy X - and hopefully hearing more details - fairly soon. At a recent computer graphics seminar in Japan, Square's CG director, Satoshi Tsukamoto, said to 'expect some of the most impressive CG yet' in FFX. Square is planning a 'formal showing of Final Fantasy X' at the Tokyo Game Show, which runs from March 30th to April 1st. However, it's uncertain what specifically, or how much of FFX will be shown at TGS at this time.

The bi-monthly Sega Dreamcast RPG, Eldorado Gate, is going to be cut pretty short, closing with the seventh chapter as opposed to the 24th, as was originally planned. Capcom made the announcement earlier this week, saying it was due to Sega cutting back in hardware production. Changes are being made to the remaining chapters, which are all still slated for their original release dates, with the exception of the fourth chapter, which will be released in Japan on April 12.

Atlus has announced an RPG for the PlayStation 2 titled Wizardry, which is being developed by Racdym. Wizardy takes place in a kingdom called Doohan, which has been destroyed by a large orb of light - and to make matters worse, the Queen is lost in the labyrinth beneath the castle. The Queen's court then asks the surviving citizens of Doohan to help find and save the Queen. Gameplay details are scarce, but so far we know that the battle system will allow you to fight up to a dozen enemies at once, as well as use group attack techniques. Atlus also promises there will be a highly customizable party, as well as a large number of side quests.
