Sonic Team has announced that, starting May 10th at 8 PM, Japan time, they started banning cheaters from their MMORPG, Phantasy Star Online. This means that anyone who uses hacked items or other cheat-device enabled trickery, along with those who have caused offences two or more times to other players in the lobby will have their serial number and password deactivated. While cheating is a part of every MMORPG, and though most methods are stopgap at best, Sonic Team's method will work, at least until the upgraded security arrives in Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2
