Final Fantasy Tactics has long been one of the most elusive and sought-after games in the Square collective. The game is impossible to find at retailers now and goes for insane prices at online auctions.Last month it had all been but officially confirmed that Final Fantasy Tactics was going to finally make its way to Sony's Greatest Hits Collection. However, Sony has denied the rumor and says there are no plans to include the title at this time.
Retailers still claim that Final Fantasy Tactics has a release date of July 30, 2001. If Sony's trying to keep the release a suprise, they're not doing a good job. Or maybe retailers need to update their corporate computer systems. In any case, it's one company's word disputing another.
