Since it's release last week until Monday, Square reports that Final Fantasy X has sold approximately 1.92 million copies, effectively almost selling out all of Square's first initial shipment. Of the 2.14 million units shipped, about 70% were sold in the first day of release alone. Square mentioned that Final Fantasy X is selling at about the same rate that Final Fantasy VII and VIII sold.Final Fantasy X is not due to reach North America until some time early next year.
