Rumiko Takahashi's Inu-Yasha will soon be making the jump from anime to video game form. Bandai is developing an adventure-RPG for the WonderSwan Color, based on the popular series.
Inu-Yasha tells the story of a high school girl who is transported back to medieval Japan works in cooperation with a half-man, half-dog to recover the broken pieces of a crystal to rid the land of the evil plaguing it.
The game will follow the natural progression of night and day. The game's story will follow a style somewhat similar to the Sakura Taisen series, but the battles will be purely RPG in mode.
Inu-Yasha is due for an October release in Japan for 4500 yen ($36.30 USD).
