Sources are reporting a port or remake of Dragon Quest IV: Michibikareshi Monotachi (Dragon Quest IV: The Guided Ones) will surface on the Playstation. No information has been revealed on the release date or nature of the release, however.Originally released in 1990, Dragon Quest IV is the only 8-bit Dragon Quest to have not been remade for another system. While not the most popular game in the series, it had sold 3,100,000 copies in its time, and with the recent Dragon Quest frenzy generated by DQVII, a remake is bound to be a big success in Japan.
