Presented in trailer-only form, Miyamoto's long rumored sequel to the popular Legend of Zelda series for GameCube finally saw the light of day for those lucky enough to attend the press conference. What little that was shown utilized the trendy cel-shading effect being employed in many upcoming RPGs to give the game a more retro RPG feel. Little else is known about the game's setting or possible plot. (Although we're guessing it has something to do with Zelda.)
The Legend of Zelda has been rumored to be in development for the last year, and has a tentative release date of "Christmas 2002."
