The final volume of Capcom's serial Dreamcast RPG, El Dorado Gate, is due for a Japanese release on October 10th for 2800 yen ($23.35 USD). With character designs by Yoshitaka Amano, the series was originally planned to run far past seven volumes; but with the imminent death of the Dreamcast at hand, Capcom decided to end it as quickly as possible.El Dorado Gate Vol. 7 will include the last two chapters in the game. For those that reserve the game from Sega's D-Direct service, you'll receive Vol. 7, a nice box to keep your entire El Dorado Gate collection in, and a special postcard.
Don't look for a US release of this series anytime soon...it's not going to happen.
