Konami announced at a press conference today a December 20th Japanese release for the third installment in the Tokimeki Memorial series. The game makes the jump to PlayStation 2 and will employ the new cel-shaded look that's the latest fad at the moment. The game will also feature the EVS, or "Emotional Voice System". The producer and programmer of the game elaborated on this somewhat: A girl in the game can say the player's name, even using an accent and the correct dialect. No word yet if other things can be said.
Another new innovation for the dating-sim enthusiast is being able to choose what outfit you will wear on your date with a girl.
In addition, Japanese rock band Zard will be contributing a song to the game, called "Seven Rainbow."
No word yet on Tokimeki Memorial 3's price. And don't expect a US release date...ever.
