Many rumors had been going around about various publishers picking up Shadow Hearts for a domestic release. As it turns out, the company who will end up translating it is none other than Midway. This was revealed when the game showed up on their annual fiscal report.Though listed with a March 2002 release date, Midway stated the game may actually be finished and shipping prior to then.
For those unaware, Shadow Hearts is Sacnoth's second gothic-themed RPG, following Koudelka on the PlayStation. Will the increased horsepower of the PS2 make Shadow Hearts a better game then Koudelka? I guess we'll find out around March.
