Enix has announced that they will release both Grandia Xtreme and Grandia II for PlayStation2 in Japan on January 31st 2002. While Grandia Xtreme is the fourth installment in the series so far, Grandia II is a PS2 port of GameArts' popular Dreamcast RPG. Both games are to be published in Japan by Enix under an exclusive contract; since June, Enix owns a 15% stake in GameArts.UbiSoft, who is publishing Grandia II in the US and Europe, still has a December 4th date for the US release of the game.
