While the original Megaman Battle Network (Rockman EXE in Japan) is set to hit US shores soon, the Japanese sequel, imaginatively called Rockman EXE 2, is gearing up for its December debut.In preparation for the impending release, Capcom has mentioned some of the new elements to be featured in the game. The most notable of those is what are being called "style changes". Unlike the normal Mega Man routine of gaining new abilities from bosses after a completed stage, the changes in Rockman EXE 2 will be based on the player's gameplay style.
While no specifics were mentioned, the general idea is that Megaman's abilities, as well as his appearance, will be largely impacted by the type
of attacks and methods the player uses in battle.
