Microsoft announced that they will release Gas Powered Games' 3D Action Fantasy RPG Dungeon Siege in April 2002. Combining action RPG gameplay with real-time strategy controls, the game allows players to control up to eight party members in battle. Dungeon Siege's story takes place in the Kingdom of Ehb, where a mysterious evil has been unleashed. The game will offer a story-driven single player mode as well as several multiplayer modes. Furthermore, it is possible to create new worlds or mods by utilizing the free downloadable Siege Editor.
