Enix announced today that their upcoming RPG Star Ocean 3: Till the end of time will be released by the end of March 2002.
The series previously had installments released for the Super Famicom, PlayStation and Game Boy, and sold over 1.15 million copies in Japan. Although only Star Ocean Second Story made it to the US and Europe, a western release of Star Ocean 3 is rather likely at the moment.
Additionally, Enix president Keiji Honda mentioned that Dragon Quest VIII is in early development stages ('research stages' to be exact). Although it may be a long, very long wait for the next installment in the main DraQue series, DQVIII will supposedly release on PlayStation 2.
