Enix has posted official release dates and pricing for Grandia II and Xtreme for PlayStation 2 on its website. Contrary to previous reports stating both games would be released simultaneously in Japan on January 31st 2002, only Grandia Xtreme is now set for a release at that date for a price of 7,800yen (55.36USD). Grandia II, the port of the popular Dreamcast RPG, however, will only be available on February 21st 2002 for 6,800yen (63.50USD). Under an exclusive contract, Enix has secured the publishing rights to both titles from GameArts and also acquired a 15% stake in the developing studio, known also for its Lunar series.
