Welcome to Kanno-101

This update RPGFan is featuring one of the greatest composers to grace both game and anime with her musical scores, Yoko Kanno. With a resume in music that spans all the way back to 1987, which includes many of the earliest strategy/rpg games from KOEI, Kanno's work has influenced aspiring artists and touched faithful fans the world over. Although she has composed very little game music as of late, the work she has done continues to be celebrated.

Bringing us up to speed on most of Kanno's earliest work with six reviews, mainly from the Nobunaga series, is the very knowledgeable Ongakusei. And for good measure, I threw in a seventh, to make it a nice, odd number.

So sit back, turn the lights low, the speakers high, and get ready for intense aural pleasure as you read through these reviews. I'll let the music speak for itself.
