Several months ago, Bioware announced that they would not be releasing their upcoming RPG, Neverwinter Nights, through their long-time publisher, Interplay. The dispute between the two companies put the status of the game in limbo, as Interplay retained publishing rights to the title.Gamers need not fear that the game won't be released, however - Interplay and Bioware have reached an agreement, and Infogrames will publish Neverwinter Nights.
Despite the litigation between the two companies, Neverwinter Nights is still on track for an early 2002 release.
