.hack to See US Release

Bandai will release its four volume RPG, .hack, in the US on October 2nd. .hack places you as a player in a MMORPG gone horribly wrong; no one can make any progress in the game, so it's up to you to hack and slash your way to the root of the problem.

There's no word yet if Bandai will release all four volumes of .hack at once or separately; if the game is released all at once, it will see completion in the US before its Japanese counterpart, as the fourth volume of .hack isn't due for release there until March of next year. There's also no word yet if Bandai will release the accompanying .hack anime series. Considering how prolific Bandai's anime division is, however, it's almost certain the anime will see a US release.
