At the PlayStation Meeting 2002, Sony Computer Entertainment and heads of various Japanese developing studios announced their plans for various PlayStation 2 online games. Among the titles announced are Nobunaga's Ambition Online from Koei, SCEI's own Arc The Lad Online, Namco's Project Venus (a game based on the company's first PS2 RPG, Seven), a still untitled massive multi-player RPG from Atlus, as well as the already announced online RPGs; Square's Final Fantasy XI and Hundred Swords from Sega.
