Shin Megami Tensei Online Renamed Shin Megami Tensei Nine
Announced last year for the Xbox, Shin Megami Tensei Online was one of the system's first big titles RPG-wise, although not much information had been disclosed since the original announcement. Atlus is finally unveiling the game; it has received a name change and is now known as Shin Megami Tensei Nine. Set in 202X, in an imaginary world reminiscent of the 90s, Shin Megami Tensei Nine will feature the series' classic concepts devil combination and negociations. It will be set in a modern Tokyo, modeled on the neighbourhoods of Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro. Shin Megami Tensei Nine will have a new feature: character creation, that will allow the player to choose their character's name, gender, hair and skin color, etc. Players can simultaneously have several characters in their party, and battles will be done in a real time strategy mode.
