Card of Destiny Info and Media

Abel's card fantasy RPG, Card of Destiny, will be available for Sega Dreamcast on March 28th. The game features cute anime style characters, card battle elements and a 1st person dungeon mode.

Card of Destiny's story evolves around Asu Richard, a member of Roana's lower aristocracy, who dreams of becoming a member of the Imperial Knights. Further characters include Asu's sister-in-law Lufiana, Milca, Yurisha S. Alldayhina, Reitya, Vinsfelt Deinslef, Claire Chester, Lisela, Sajes Algreen, Natasha, Laurence and Rocka.

For more than 300 years the world of Reshina has been under the strict command of the religious country of Roana. However, by the time of the game's beginning, Roana's supreme rule is threatened. The kindgom of Woldo, located in a remote area of Reshina, is forcefully trying to become what Roana has been before, the center of power. In order to counter the approaching thread, the elite units of the Imperial Knights are set up in Roana's capital, Amul.

At the center of Card of Destiny's battle system are the Guardia, magical powers that are summoned by using cards. Fifty of those Guardias will be available in the game.
