Just three days before teary film producers and actors thanked their moms, granduncles and dogs for giving them the chance to win an Oscar in Los Angeles last night, the Game Developers Choice Awards winners were announced in San Jose.Yuji Naka, Sonic and Phantasy Star mastermind and CEO of Sega's Sonic Team, was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Sony Computer Entertainment's ICO took home a whopping three awards in the categories "Excellence in Visual Arts," "Game Innovation Spotlights," and "Excellence in Level Design."
