Cross Gate Info and Media

Enix's first PC online RPG, Cross Gate, was released on July 26th 2001 in Japan, retailing for 8,800yen (66.85USD).

Themed after medieval Europe, Cross Gate features a world of might and magic. You choose one out of 14 characters, each with four different colored designs. The game's turn-based battle system allows parties of up to five characters. Players have a maximum of 30 seconds to enter a command at their turn. It is possible to contact fellow players via chat and e-mail during the game.

As with Depth Fantasia, you pay for 30, 60, 90 or 180 days of playing time. Thirty days cost you 1,050yen ($7.98USD), 60 days 2000yen ($15.19USD), 90 days 2800yen ($21.27USD) and 180 days 5000yen ($37.98USD).
