Sony Online Entertainment has announced that they will be bringing their popular PC online RPG EverQuest to PlayStation 2. Dubbed EverQuest Online Adventure, the game is set to be released on PS2 sometime in spring 2003.Similar to Sega's Phantasy Star Online and Square's upcoming Final Fantasy XI, interested players will have to pay-per-play for EverQuest.
Sony Online Entertainment so far has only developed PC games, while Sony Computer Entertainment has been Sony's only division on the console side of things.
